A Portable PA system is available to hire for your event. It is easy to move around as it has a retractable pull handle and wheels. Powered by mains electricity or from a rechargeable internal battery, the PA is particularly useful if you need to amplify sound – whether you want to use a microphone for a talk, or play music or a film through the speaker. It is also available for external hire if you need to use it outside the Centre.
The PA system is not bluetooth-enabled, so if you just want to play music from your phone, it’s best to hire our Bluetooth Speaker.
The PA system works with any device that has a phono port (a headphone socket). It also has slots for a USB memory stick and an SD card. It can also be used with instruments such as an electric guitar.
Two wireless microphones are included.
The charge for hiring the PA and all necessary cables is £5.40 per booking within any one day, or £2.10 if you are a not-for-profit organisation.
