Book Donations
If you would like to donate books to the library, please follow these guidelines:
- The books must be in good condition.
- Regretfully we cannot take hard back books due to lack of space.
- Fiction books are preferable (rather than reference books).
- We cannot accept out-of-date guides or manuals.
- We can only take 10 books in one donation.
- If we don’t have enough space, any donated books will be passed on to a charity shop.
Thank you!
Volunteering
The Community Library is run entirely by volunteers. It is a simple but rewarding commitment of one 2-hour session every 4 weeks. We always welcome new volunteers to join our friendly team. If you would like to know more, please contact the Library Manager, Julie Andrews, via the Centre’s contact details (info@theoldschool.org.uk 07707 723637).
