We have a laminator available for public use. It can be used to laminate both A4 and A3 sheets.
Use of the laminator is free of charge. You can bring your own plastic laminating pouches, or buy some from the Centre Manager.
During the building closure period, use of the laminator is by appointment with the Centre Manager: please email info@theoldschool.org.uk
Cost of laminates
Private, commercial or statutory bodies – 85p for A4 and £1.25 for A3
Charities or not-for-profit organisations – 50p for A4 and 60p for A3
Tip for laminating posters
If your posters will be pinned up outside, rain can seep through pin holes into the paper below and spread. So instead:
- cut the 4 corners off the poster first (this is where you’ll put the pins)
- then laminate
- make sure any pins go into the plastic only area
